I'm Sharon Hayes
I began my adult life as a homemaker with a GED. By my late 20s, I was ready for a life change. I enrolled in classes at a local community college, where I graduated an Honors Scholar — one of the first at the school. This success propelled me into higher goals, and within three years I earned B.A. and M.S. degrees from universities in Texas and New York, respectively. I then spent 12 years on the fast track of a Fortune 100 company as a writer, publishing manager and marketing communications specialist.
Eventually I began a journey to follow a higher call. This journey took me to Duke University for a certificate in non-profit management, into leadership roles in church ministry and non-profit administration, and toward a career in coaching. I'm a graduate of Coach U Core Essentials Program and member of the International Coach Federation. I have been coaching since 2004. Along my journey, I have learned to:
· Trust my intuition in making decisions
· Tap into my creative energy for fun
· Focus on my goals without distraction
· Practice self-care as a means for achieving balance, happiness and success
· Recognize that everything I do leads me to my next place.
