Sharon Hayes is a life-long learner who believes in the human spirit. She has a gift of helping people discover their own ideas and develop action plans for achieving their goals. 

A leader in church and community, Sharon offers a perspective that inspires creative and joyful personal commitment to life or career changes. In 2005 she launched Higher Call Coaching based on her own sense of call to create space for those who want to reach higher and lead happier, more fulfilling lives. She now hosts retreats across the Carolinas, and she coaches over 50 individuals and groups each year through support groups, workshops and one-to-one sessions. Her calm presence and open, honest approach have helped many people find their right path.

Sharon spent 12 years on the fast track of a Fortune 100 company in Research Triangle Park, NC as a writer, publishing manager and marketing communications specialist. Since 2001 she has been working with churches and non-profit organizations in Raleigh. She holds an A.A. in music from Richland College, a B.A. in English from Texas Woman’s University and an M.S. in Technical Communication from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition, she has a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, and she’s a recent graduate of the Coach U Advanced Coaching Program.
